Low FODMAP Japanese Beef Curry

Looking for an easy, hearty meal? Try this Easy Low FODMAP Japanese Beef Curry! With just two key ingredients—Ayam Japanese Curry Paste and FreeFOD Garlic Replacer (both available at FodShop)—you can make this dish even more delicious and gut-friendly!

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef stew meat, cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp garlic-infused oil
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 2 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 cup green beans, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup water
  • 185g Ayam Japanese Curry Paste 
  • 250ml water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pot. Sear the beef chunks until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add carrots, potatoes, green beans and 1 tsp FreeFod Garlic Replacer for seasoning. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Return beef to the pot and add water. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 30 minutes until beef and veggies are tender.
  4. Stir in the curry paste. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over rice.
