Butter Chicken is popular in countries all over the world, the origin of which can be traced back to Delhi during the Mughal Empire.
No Worries Curries have made up a Butter Chicken herb & spice blend for all that are time poor, butter shy and avoiding onion. Apart from the marination time, the below recipe will take you just 24 minutes to cook in the oven.
Step 1: MARINATE: In a glass bowl place 1 cup Greek Yoghurt, 1/2 pack of No Worries Curries Butter Chicken spice, 2 tbl garlic infused olive oil, 1 level tbsp sugar, 1 level tbsp sea salt, 2 tbsp tomato sauce. Mix in 1 whole chicken (1 - 1.2kg) cut in half. Allow to marinate in the fridge, minimum 30 minutes maximum 12 hours.
Step 2: COOK: Heat your oven to 240C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper (to avoid scrubbing).
Place marinated chicken in tray and cook for 24 minutes.
NOTE: This product is a herb & spice mix; you are required to add other ingredients in order to make up the rest of the recipe.
